Women of Concern Luncheon in Chicago & NYC

This week, Gemma had the privilege of emceeing the 2025 Annual Awards Luncheon for the Women of Concern series, hosted by Concern USA in both Chicago and New York City.

The events served as powerful celebrations of women who are leading with purpose, breaking barriers, and shaping industries and the future.

Among this year’s incredible honorees was Kathy Bolhous, CEO of Charter Next Generation, whose leadership in sustainable packaging continues to inspire. The New York edition, held in the iconic Rainbow Room, spotlighted Melissa Ben-Ishay, the creative force behind Baked by Melissa, whose entrepreneurial journey embodies the spirit of bold innovation and resilience.

Both events also featured lively fundraising auctions, masterfully led by Sophie Colgan, which collectively raised over $350,000 in support of Concern’s mission to end extreme poverty and uplift vulnerable communities around the world.

It was a joy to be part of a space that not only honors women's achievements but also channels that energy into real, global impact. Here's to continuing to support and celebrate women who are changing the world—one breakthrough at a time.
