Gemma Allen relocated to New York nearly a decade ago from Cork City. A writer, communications, and marketing consultant based in Brooklyn, Gemma brings nearly 20 years of experience in the technology sector, where she has been advising C-level executives on international growth strategy since 2015.

How it Started
Gemma Allen is deeply committed to education, a passion deeply instilled in her from her own family's history. As the daughter of parents who left school at just 12 years old, Gemma personally experienced the transformative impact education can have. Her journey began in a Deis (DEIS (Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools a government-funded Irish program that provides additional resources and support to schools in areas of socio-economic disadvantage,) and continued through as an third level Access student and Bank of Ireland Millennial Scholar, shaping her profound appreciation for academic opportunity.
With degrees from the University of Limerick (where she was granted Deans award for graduating top of her class) and a Masters degree from University College Dublin, along with an Advanced Diploma from New York University (NYU), Gemma champions educational equality with unwavering dedication. Her own inspiring journey—from Cork's Ringmahon Road to notable academic achievements—fuels her mission to ensure everyone, regardless of background, has access to education and the opportunities it provides.
